A peaceful route with a great paddlesports river and a lot of wildlife. It is very popular, and the closer to Folks you get the more noise you'll hear.

Friends and I do this stretch of the river at least once a year. Nicely wooded with great viewing of wildlife, deer, ducks, geese along with numerous species of birds. Numerous trees and limbs in the river but easily navigable just the same. Best early morning if it is quiet and solitude you are looking for. Easy in and out at both Goose Lake and Folks Roads.

It's on the narrow side and very bendy with some down trees to navigate but I didn't have to get out of my kayak. Very quiet and peaceful with lots of wildlife if you get there early in the morning. (afternoon seems to be when the loud campers and other types show up)
