Running

I like running on these trails. There had been a large fallen tree blocking the path. Some angel came and sawed it up. The earth moving referenced in a previous report seems to be complete, now. The County moved a lot of dirt to restore an area of wetlands. Lots of migrating birds using the new pond. This seems to be much more of a walking path than a mountain biking trail. It is not laid in single-track as much as a wide mowed path. There is a lovely view with a bench at the south west corner along the river loop. It is such a great time to be outside. No mosquitos! Dress warm enough and enjoy the beauty of the area.

Well it’s a nice quick hike but I’m not sure if I was on the trail or on private property. Went by the river and saw some geese and ducks fly off. Well groomed but not marked at all. Good trail.

Great hike for kids. Not too long but enough to enjoy on a nice day.
