Pretty nice hike my favorite path is from the boat launch on big seven all the way around the south side of the lake to the crossing between big seven and little seven.

Several great trails and fishing, swimming, camping. I've hiked it in spring, fall, winter, huge difference in appearance. Pretty easy trails could be marked better in some areas.

Half the trail you was great. Secluded, lake and stream views, beaver dam, rolling hills through the woods. The other half was ok but not great. Trail is well maintained and has markers.

This is a great trail for getting out and getting some exercise. The trail is well marked except for the areas that go through the picnic and beach area. Along the the trail there are beautiful views of the lake.

Fun trail! Some nice hilly areas. Saw a 7 foot blue racer last week!

We took our dogs on a beautiful Saturday afternoon. The trails are mostly wooded, quiet and easy to hike. We did an about 3.5 miles hike, see picture. There is a beach as well as many picnic areas. You'll need a recreational passport.

This is my day-to-day hiking trail since I can hike to it in about 4 minutes. Nice trail, very well marked (maps are located at each intersection which is numbered), and well groomed with a couple exceptions. Paper maps are located at the Ranger station and entry booth. The terrain varies from flat prairie-like conditions to some slightly rugged, hilly areas amongst the trees located primarily on the eastern/southern edge of Big Seven Lake. Lots of small marshes and views across the lake await anybody that ventures around the main loop (about 3.7 miles long). To do the whole loop requires walking along a small road and the beach for about 1/2 mile. Not bad, but it takes you out of the wilderness. Smaller loops are available by starting at Dickenson Shelter which is the first road to the left after main entrance booth.

Overall a very nice set of trails to venture out on. Plan a swim in the lake afterwards, or even rent a kayak from the concession area after your hike to round out a great trip.

I did the mountain bike trail yesterday (9/4/15). This trail is moderately difficult. The trail is close to 4 miles long and wraps around the park, passing many nice views of the lakes. However, parts of the trail are not maintained. They are very narrow with lots of bushes and shrubs protruding into the bike path.
