I would've rated this above Empire Bluff Trail, but it is more of a challenging hike! The hike to the lookout is where you gain a good chunk of your elevation. Gorgeous, gorgeous views & more secluded areas when its a highly trafficked day.

Great trail with beautiful views of the lake and manitou islands. Unique terrain with sand dune, meadow and forest. Would rate as easy

Great views and lots of different paths to take. The only thing that keeps is from 5 stars is how dang busy it gets.

Pretty trail! Be careful if taking small children. The view from the top is beautiful, but I could have enjoyed it more if not worrying about them watching their step!

This is a great trail that allows you to see a few different types of scenery; meadows, forest & sand dunes. There is an uphill to the scenic view but it is worth it for the beautiful views. From the top you can see the sand dunes, Lake Michigan, the Manitou islands & if you are luck on a clear day South fox island. It is a beautiful hike. Driving through Onieda Point to get there is pretty too!
