The main loop is very easy as it is a road, but it is fun once you venture off into the side trails. I enjoy walking along the cliff trail which is more difficult, but well worth it to see the lake. Only downside is how crowded some spots can be during the summer.

very crowded. this would make for a great spot in the summer. Cliff jumping is very popular

Although the trail was rated as easy, it was not easy for me as there were many tree roots that presented tripping hazards. It was very nice in the woods and we only encountered a few hikers. The descent for the trail followed the Lake Superior shoreline that provided a beautiful view!

Was looking forward to hiking around this park with my dogs. However, I drove all the way there to find out my dogs are not allowed on the trails and have to stay in the truck..... even though the website says they are dog friendly and as long as their on a leash they are allowed all over. Very disappointing.
