Park Lyndon Yellow Trail, Green Trail, and Blue Trail Loop is a 4 mile moderately trafficked loop trail located near Chelsea, Michigan that features a lake and is rated as moderate. The trail offers a number of activity options and is accessible year-round. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.
Park Lyndon has a few miles of trails, which are split into several different loops that can be done together or separately, with little or no overlap among them. There are two pavillions, one each at the main North and South parking lots, along with vault toilets at each lot. During the Spring, ephemerals are in bloom throughout the park.
Beautiful, hilly walk. I think it would be excellent for taking children on for one of the first hikes in nature. The trial is rustic in places, bring good shoes. Also, I was doing a photo walk, so disregard my pace.
Maybe it was the fresh 2” of snow and 28 degree weather, but this was among the most beautiful hikes I have been on Michigan. Gorgeous looping trails of rich variety
Beautiful on this sunny late-January day. Undulating topography and great views. Had my Yaktrax on and I was glad.
Very nice trail, peaceful and serene....The south side of the trail has some nice hills as it makes its way around the lake.
I would recommend looking over the trails on n the area and planning a different route in advance. Really nice area, a little close to a somewhat busy road. As far as I can tell, there’s a bunch more public trails that connect to this one.
It was okay. I liked the parts walking through the forest the best.
