Green is multi purpose trail. Orange is a one way for bikes and has tighter trails with lots of saplings and a few extra fun spots. Markers for both could be improved, but overall a nice ride. Non Novi residents pay $5 for parking.

So much fun! Would be 5 stars for biking except it needs a little bit better marking for the level of trail. Had a great time.

Enjoyed many sections of the trail but from description of 7 miles in trail info, I was expecting the length of trails to be longer but found only short sections. The 7 miles must include bike trails which were extremely busy in the fall ( visited 4 times). The bike and waking trails extremely close to each other sometimes so when bikes came flying by, you can be startled easily. Just not quite what I expected.

Beautiful and easy hike for all skill levels. It does cost money to drive in, but I think it's worth it. There are so many different trails to go on and it is all very well maintained. I would go back.

Beautiful, scenic, not too crowded. $5 for non-Novi residents.

Trail head in a park that charges $ unless you are a Novi resident. I didn't go in, but didn't see another way to leave this note.

Does it cost anything to go on this trail? Or is it free?

Beautiful all season trail for hiking. Bikes are plentiful, but are super polite in sharing this wooded trail. Love to hike here all seasons.

The Tree Farm Trail system is my favorite trail in the Detroit metro area. Relatively flat, but the 10 mile singletrack loop is jam packed with features (log piles, bridges, technical sections, "skinny" tree balance beams, rock gardens, pump track, craters, etc).
The singletrack loop intersects with an assortment of multi-use trails that are wider and great for family bike rides and hikes. The trails are well marked at each intersection and most of the difficult sections have a bi-pass option. Novi Lakeshore park is beautiful with picnic areas, playgrounds, bathrooms and even a beach on Walled Lake. It sits less than a mile north of Novi's huge shopping district and 12-Oaks Mall. You can easily bike/walk on sidewalks all the way into town for a bite to eat or go see a movie.

Started at Lakeshore Park which has a play structure, then when you hike/bike in a bit further it has another play structure. Kids loved that. Hiking was great. A lot of mountain bikers around who were very polite, they use separate trails so no issue with hiking where we wanted to go. Cold day so we didn't go as far as we had hoped, but will definitely come back. No fee on the day we came because the fee booth wasn't manned at the time.
