Mount Baldhead is a 1 mile moderately trafficked loop trail located near Saugatuck, Michigan that features beautiful wild flowers and is rated as moderate. The trail is primarily used for hiking, walking, and trail running and is best used from June until September. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.

The stairs will kick your butt! The top of the hill offers pretty good views of saugatuck. If you make your way down the dune you can see Lake Michigan much better. It is extremely sandy. You can make it to oval beach if you head southwest on a trail after you make it to the top of the mt. Bald head

What a workout!! 300 steps up to breathtaking view then down dune to Oval Park on Lake Michigan shore. Then road back to stairs for repeat. Serious cardio in a short run.
