The actual Mt. Arvon hiking trail is 1.75 miles from the top. You can drive to the top, but you miss out on a beautiful walk through the woods past numerous small waterfalls. It is well marked.

Road good all the way to the top.

This highpoint is very drivable all the way to within 100 feet of the peak. I got up with no problem in the front-wheel drive Fusion on July 4th. There’s a slight view off to the right of the peak as you approach. Worth checking out. Directions are on Summitposf.org or you can get them at the L’Anse welcome center. This is not a difficult high point to do. Not time consuming at all.

The route on the map isnt an actual trail you can get to. Its on a private logging road and was too muddy to pass if I wanted to ignore the signs. I followed the tiny signs on the main road and found a 1.75 mile trail. It was very overgrown and muddy, but the trees were marked clearly, there was just no path, so it was like walking through the woods! Summit was very buggy, so bring Bug spray!

You have to spot these tiny signs all the way up and it is an amazing view from the top (took a car) when you get up to the top there is also a mailbox to sign your name and to put it back inside the mailbox lots of empty pages. only if they could cut more trees down up top I’d give it a 5/5 that being so 3/5

Not a very exciting trail. There is no few at the top. A bit of a disappointment.
