Stunning views! Easy paved path. Can be a bit busy and touristy. But leads to some less used trails.

Nice, paved trail. The walk to the lower overlook is a little bit steep. The view from the main overlook is amazing! The castle rock runs down and meets with the colored rocks and into the blue water.

Easy walk. Picturesque views. Nearby trail down to Miners Beach is more difficult (steep when returning), but the beach is amazingly beautiful and not busy at all. Highly recommend going down there if your group can handle it.

This is such a cool place. When you get there, you see a purely Michigan looking restroom area. Wooden, beach and avant garde. Then you walk around 100 feet to the look out that famously shows you the breathtaking view of Minors Castle with the emerald green waters of Lake Superior below. Easy is an understatement, no grade change and paved. But...then you go down the trail part and it gets real. Lol. You can walk down to the back end of Minors Castle and see more pretty views of the cliffs of Pictured Rocks. However, this trail isn’t easy. It’s tough on bad knees going down, due to the steepness of the grade, and the incline going back up is a killer for someone with bad knees and who is overweight. Very nice views.

I recommend doing this one on a sunny day otherwise the water looks dark and you can’t see the full beauty of the rocks.

Short paved trail with steps to a scenic overlook of lake superior from parking lot. Very touristy. Toilet rooms on site.

Very crowded and nothing more than a tourist/non-hiker drive-up spot. Some of the views are nice, but not nearly as nice as the views you see on the long hiking trail from Mosquito Falls to Chapel Rock to Chapel Falls.

Easy hike for an amazing view. We came on a somewhat foggy day and couldn’t see out very far, so being out at the end of the hike felt like being at the end of the world! I would recommend also taking the NCT going east to Miner’s Beach. Pretty quiet when we went on a weekday and another beautiful place.

Very short walk to platform overlooking miners castle.Bathrooms available and plenty of parking. There are also barbecue and picnic tables. I wish I had known that you could walk to the beach but I didn’t see any signs.

Not really a trail, more of a lookout point of pictured rocks. Heavily trafficked, dog friendly, but still breathtaking views!
