Good trail. Some paths are flooded now but most of it is paved. It’s a marshland.

Not bad. Pretty crowded right now (as people are looking for things to do during self-isolation; it would be nice if others took the social distancing guidelines a little more seriously), and the lake level has made the marsh level rise, too (the bridge near the parking lot is currently underwater, and likely will be for a while, so bring some wellies or the like if you want to cross it). It also has some decent signage, but then some forks have none. In all, it’s a decent hike and not a bad drive to get to.

Dogs are most certainly NOT allowed on this trail and if you dare to bring yours on, you will risk having the police called on you by people (remember BBQ Becky? That type) with nothing better to do than ruin your hike. (They won’t actually come by the way - I think local police have better things to do than shame people for walking their dogs in a nature center) So. Leave your dogs at home I guess. The trail is short and connects to many dog friendly trails but still, the whites are merciless. The trail is almost always flooded in many areas so the actual hiking area is probably half a mile or so. Meh.

Great place to walk the dogs. Clean and well kept up park with lots of different amenities. Outdoor pool has waterslides!

This place is beautiful. Even though some of the trails we're flooded, I saw a ton of wildlife. Definitely a great place to birdwatch and get your steps in.

The trail was completely flooded when we got here and the reviews says this is dog friendly but the head of the trail says no dogs so I’m confused

This is a great place to go just before sun down. I've been coming here for over 40years and have never been disappointed.

Took my 5yo daughter there and she really enjoyed spotting turtles in the pond and swans in the marsh. Not a particularly enjoyable “hike” for us adults, though.

This area of the Lake St. Clair Metropark is vastly underrated and has some great wildlife viewing opportunities once spring rolls around.
