Maple Hill is a 10.6 mile out and back trail located near Rudyard, Michigan and is rated as difficult. The trail is primarily used for hiking and is best used from May until October.
I've hiked a few segments of this trial. I personally like to start at Trout Pond (a bit north) and head south. That has been my favorite route. There are a few brooks to enjoy and some nice hills. It's also very secluded, during that hike i didn't see a single person.
There's a new "connector" for the North Country Trail, that this one synchs up with. Just follow the blue rectangles.
Also, there's a beaver dam on one of the segments.
