Loved the trail but wasn’t prepared for the bugs!! Especially bad on the trails adjacent to the river. The different ecosystems are beautiful!

we did this with my brother in law and sister in law. we went in an overcast/light sprinkle day in the 70's. we ended up walking 3.8 miles and it was a lovely walk. maps all over and well marked trails.

Trail was nice lots of maps along the way but still would use trail maps on all trails you could get turned around the trails are tricky and jump around a lot from one color trail to another I think there are 5 or so different color trails that can be a little tricky even using all trails I got turned around a couple times off trail was supposed to be 2.4 miles ended up 3.2 miles because of mistakes made even using all trails if you were not using gps you might be doing 5 or 6 miles lol

Nice trail. There are many trails within the bigger loop. Some of the trail was narrow with weeds that hit your ankles. There are maps along the way. This was nice.

Good trail. Well marked. Not busy. Family friendly. It’s across the river from a gun range. So try to go off hours to avoid the noise. Wear hikers for mud. Could be very buggy in summer.

Winter hike on NYE with snow, very natural views of forest and river. All paths are very well marked, each meeting point has a map. Definitely would recommend!

HikingBridge out

A very enjoyable trail. Well marked and shaded. Bridge was out in one section but we doubled back and went the other way. The mosquitos were not horrible. The maple grove and quiet bridge were beautiful.
