HikingMuddySnow

Didn’t make it all the way to the lake but with the fresh snow the hike along the creek was beautiful! It was very easy to navigate where to go as it is very well marked. However, I don’t think this would be a very fun trail to go on after it has rained a lot or when the snow melts because it was already quite muddy with some snow.

Would rated much higher if It weren’t so buggy! However, It was a great trail to run because it’s not very rocky and there were few people! The lost lake seemed more like a pond too

VERY BUGGY. You feel like your doing a OFF commercial. With the rain 3 days ago, very muddy swamp like. Bring lots of spray and face netting.

First to Review

The trail is very rustic, more like a deer trail, could be hard to follow if not much use. signs are scarce, but there is not any intersecting trails to mess you up. Very cool part along the pine river where your about 100 ft above it. you can also get to Chipmunk Rapids camp site from this trail And there is the Assesors trail that is a nature walk around the lake
