Kalamazoo Nature Center Trails is a 2.9 mile out and back trail located near Kalamazoo, Michigan that offers the chance to see wildlife. The trail is good for all skill levels and primarily used for hiking, walking, and cross country skiing.

It's nice but it's so expensive to just go for a walk there. I believe it was about $11.
It's a nice little walking trail but I'm not sure I see why people talk it up so much.
A true gem! Not only for Kalamazoo but for all of Michigan !

The Kalamazoo Valley River Trail was a fun trail to hike. There are many curves and hills with plenty to look at along the way. Great for bikes as well!
Today was my first time on the trails and I feel like I've only scratched the surface of what there is to see. There is a mix of easy and difficult trails with stunning views.
Great place to run, hike, and cross country ski. The habitat restoration is excellent as well for the natural fauna and flora radiates here!
The Delano homestead is a great trip back in history. From the restored home to the working black smith shop you feel like you of stepped back in time.
Plus there are tons of trails leading all over. You can see the large raptors flying around the source pond.
The KNC is one of the hidden gems of Kalamazoo. There are some incredible scenes with creeks, dense forest, and the quarry is pretty amazing too!
Throughout the preserve you will forget your even in town, it is well worth spending the day!
