Neat trail! Trail is mostly over wood platforms built over marsh-type land that merges into various river-ways. Fairly well kept and maintained. Very peaceful.

Secluded and quiet today. Almost a bluebird day. One set of yesterday’s XC ski tracks, and nobody around. Several inches of new snow made the hike more enjoyable than if there wasn’t much or a lot of tracks. Bummed you can’t take your dog on the other trails, but I get it.

The outer trails were a little to soggy to hike today, but the boardwalk loops were excellent. The signage is great, the information stations along the route (loop 12) were engaging, and the boardwalks are in superb condition. The boardwalks can suit any level hiker.

Great place to walk in the spring/summer/fall and snowshoe in the winter. The trail out to the boardwalk often has tons of fresh tracks after snowfall.
