Perfect for the day trip to Windigo. I’m a 31 one year old decently in shape female and I completed the route in about 1.30 hr with a 10 min lunch break at the top. No moose or other wildlife but very pretty and worth it views at the top. Follow the Feldtmann trail then climb the ridge and turn left at the cairn for the overlook!

We only had a couple of hours to spend around Windigo, so this seemed like a decent option. In mid August you'll find an abundance of thimbleberries, along with a couple of other non-edible berries in season, so be sure to educate yourself before you do any berry picking. Well-kept trail with a nice mix of scenery. No moose sightings for us, but I'd imagine that the overlook at Grace Creek wouldn't be a bad place to look for some.

Short and sweet with a rewarding view at the end.

Easy hike to the top of a hill that overlooks a creek and pond. Got to see a moose drinking from the stream!
