Had a place almost to myself there was another older light lady there was a dog which was fine she wasn’t like right next to me nice little walk a quick 2 miles done
I decided to take a new path that the horses are usually on and I think that’s why I got the extra mile which is fine I’m a little chunky and even pass I would definitely recommend having a pair of sticks it’s not a pair of a yakker trakkers on your boots because it gets kind of icy in spots but other than that it was very pretty I enjoyed my stay
yes you can hear and see the cars on the freeway on the back end of the trail but it's like a secret door Into the Woods from urban life
Fairly easy, flat hike. Usually few other people. The trek around the pond is near the highway, so not particularly serene, but very pretty. Keep an eye out for frogs, turtles, & snakes!
Pond and the trail ends in a beautiful lake you can fish at or bring a picnic lunch. You can hike a ways around the lake for more fishing.
