Clay Cliffs Loop is a 2.4 kilometer moderately trafficked loop trail located near Leland, Michigan that features a cave. The trail is good for all skill levels and primarily used for hiking, walking, and nature trips.

March 5, 2021Great trail but icy and slippery at this time of the year. Had no issues hiking this with cleats for my boots and poles for added support.
February 26, 2021Quick, some incline, nice view of sunset off a steep face. Only a small lookout so could imagine it getting crowded but great for winter.

October 26, 2020This is definitely a favorite hike! You start off in the forest and then end up at the water. The evelation up is not too difficult and ends at the water. Once there you back track and follow the loop back into the woods, then the meadow and back into the woods. It's beautiful!
