September 11, 2020. My wife and I love this trail! It was a gorgeous Friday with hardly any one else on the trail. Well maintained and no bugs.

Beautiful. And the traffic wasn’t horrible even on Labor Day weekend. The trail is well marked and dog friendly!

Pretty busy trail closer to the trail head but clears out on the back end of the loop. Keep an ear out for mountain bikers as it’s pretty Popular but they all seemed to have great etiquette. Bring some swimming trunk and jump in that lake afterwards :)

Great trail. Come early and enjoy the trail by yourself (for the most part). The trail is marked quite well BUT follow your map!!!! There is a part that you cut through and it appears to be a closed trail. Other than that, bugs are out but not terrible.

A great day hike that showcases most of the forest and wetland communities that Michigan has to offer. Terrain is manageable for most skill levels. Some nice views of lakes, and lots of small wildlife. Does not cross any paved roads, but does cross a few dirt access roads which occasionally see recreational use. This trail is Particularly beautiful in the spring when wildflowers are abundant. Note that the trail is muddy in a few places, and that mountain bikers are allowed on most part of the trail, so keep your eyes out for them. Overall, a very pleasant day hike with excellent exposure to nature

A lot of bike activity which made our walk with our energetic dog more difficult. Good condition trail and a few nice steam crossings. Generally stays away from the lakes though... thought we would have nicer lake views.

This was our first real day hike so I don’t have much to compare it to but it was a great hike! Lots of up hill, lots of downhill and different terrain types! We will for sure be back!

Can’t beat this hike. Great views! Good elevation gains. Pinckney has the best trails any where in SE Michigan.

The trail conditions were awesome! Saw a lot of wild, including a rather large snapping turtle. This is apparently a shared trail with bikes. A lot of whom did not seem to understand trail etiquette and were going quite fast when passing pedestrians. Overall, really enjoyed the trail!

It was a good hike. We did this mid April and there was quite a few people (was a nice day). Kept our distance from those that were passing - and the bikers were cautious as well. Nice hike with some good surrounding lakes! Definitely a good day hike!

Nice trail and beautiful views. It a great place to bring the dog for a hike. It was a bit crowded today, but I'm sure everyone is trying to get outside right now.

Nice trail of light-moderate difficulty. Social distancing! Some runners, bikers, dogs, etc., but not too crowded when I went in the morning. Relatively dry except a few wet spots in the most southern loop.
