Much more to this trail than what is shown. This is part of a handful of waterfalls in a short section along the Black river with a trail linking the upper falls. The lower fall is accessible from both sides of the river, the far side by crossing the bridge at the harbor and following the north country trail.. A lot of fun to snowshoe here in the winter also :)

My husband, two teens and I hiked this trail during January. It is beautiful covered in snow. Hiking trails are more strenuous since you are hiking through calf deep snow. At points the trails are pretty steep.

I hiked this with my wife and 9 month old. The waterfalls are beautiful and all have great steps and viewing platforms. Hidden gem in the far northwest of Michigan.

Beautiful up there, we did the river hike, where we were literally climbing up small waterfalls, so much fun however not recommended if you are along.
