Nice in-town hike. Not much mud, no bugs. You get used to the highway noise fairly quickly. Pleasant shade and breeze. Nice to glimpse the river with tubers and kayakers,

Great trail, elevation changes but not difficult, high tree canopy so well shaded, very enjoyable! Kids 6 and 2 both enjoyed it too. Will definitely be back to explore more of the trail!

Nice afternoon and early evening hike. It was warm today (86) and lots of mosquitoes biting my bite prone kid. We did get a little lost but enjoyed finding our way back.

Beautiful trail, lots of wildlife. Map was very helpful. The end of the trail was a lot of highway noise but still a great hike.

Great trail! Love the hills and constant changes of scenery. Very beautiful and vast. There is a ton of mud, water and small creeks so wear waterproof boots, especially if you’re looking to explore. Perfect for walking dogs, exercise and catching some nice views. On the eastern edge, the freeway can be pretty noisy but there’s so much to explore so it’s a minor inconvenience.

Awesome trail! Will be back. Enjoyed walking through two bridges and lots of fun stuff to enjoy during the walk in the woods. Highway noises were a bit loud but so worth it. Very hilly- a perfect day hike.

Beautiful trail, definitely recommend using the map along the way since there are no trail markers. Wear shoes you don’t mind getting mud on too, there was a little bit of unavoidable mud on the first mile of the trail, but nothing too bad. Really beautiful place to spend a couple hours!

Loved the views and the fact it’s near a river. Pretty busy and lots of dogs but still very enjoyable

Very pretty but can hear the highway noise from quite a few sections. A decent amount of tree roots in the trial.

Gorgeous dense woods you can get lost in (in the best way). Lots of hills. The only downside is you can hear the highway in some areas.

It's a nice trail, overall I would recommend. The only possible complaints are that it's close to a highway so you could hear road noise for parts of it and that the trails aren't marked at all so you'll have to use your GPS to get around. AllTrails app was useful.

Great trails, kid friendly. Didn’t care for the sound of the freeway in some spots. All around nice hike.

Great for dogs. Having the trail map downloaded was super helpful. Detour to the dam was worthwhile. Pretty woods but lots of traffic noise. Appreciated the shade and solitude.

Very pretty trail with lots to see but you can hear some traffic at certain points. That’s the only reason I did not give it five stars.

Loved this hike! Easy place to spend a couple hours exploring. You’re outside; expect there to be bugs! There are some smaller, off the beaten trails, that are overgrown. Overall great area, not a lot of people, and very peaceful! Highly recommend!
