I would highly recommend starting this trail from lake of the clouds. It reaches some nice bluffs and some great view of the park. At that point I would turn around. After that it is nothing but woods for about 7 miles until it reaches up with Lake Superior trail. Overall some cool views but also some very boring parts for a long distance.

One of my favorite trails in the park. Great views of the river and dense forest. Was pretty muddy in sections once you come off the river, but should be better the later you go in the year. All of the campsites along this trail are great so you really can't go wrong. Already planning my trip back.

Great hike. Beautiful inland views with large nature trees. As with any of the trials here in the porcupine mountains. Get used to tree roots and mud puddles

Amazing hike with Fall leaves changing. Beautiful, well maintained trail through the forest. We got a late start so had to head back early when it got dark, lots of rocks and roots to trip you up in the dark.

We had a great time on this trail. Great views as you leave the Lake of the Clouds scenic outlook and beautiful falls as you near the mouth of the Big Carp.

The trail continues from Correction trail to Lake of the Clouds. Elevation change but great views. To Boy Scout group on the trail and had a great time. There is one wet crossing on Washington's Creek.
