Did north loop on a snowy Saturday.
Snow shin deep.
Look out point was gorgeous. Trail marking non existent once you get out of the woods, at back part of loop. Ended up walking 1.1 miles on road to get back to trail head parking lot, after a # of attempts to get there via trail.

Map obtained at trailhead lot was worthless.

I was looking for something more challenging and this was one of the longest hikes in the area. I wanted to snowshoe it but it had been well packed by other hikers and x-country skiiers. Can be a little confusing finding the southern trail access. Suggest using the northern trailhead, has nice parking and trail signs. Views where great and the terrain was difficult but not impossible. The trails where very well marked. I am sure it is awesome in the summer and intend to hike it again when the weather warms up and the snow melts.

Looks like a pleasant trail; we saw it in the rain, so it was a bit less enjoyable and we ended up only taking the first loop. Grass was very squelchy!

Note: the road in to the place has two entrances, one to the north and one to the south. Avoid the southern entrance, especially in bad weather. There is a long, slippery downhill if you go that way. The trailhead parking lot is closer to the northern entrance, in any case.
