Trail was nice! Well marked and a decent amount of trail signs! Got a little lost following A path that went to a neighborhood but it was snowing outside so I was following the snowy paths. There weren’t a lot of people here so it wasn’t too crowded, got to get a nice jog in with my dog which was lovely since not a lot of parks in the area are dog friendly.

WalkingGreat!

Went mid-afternoon and did not encounter bugs any worse than other parks I’ve been to. The entire trail is well worn and there are SO many trail marker signs! The overgrown grassy patch is for a very small stretch at either the very beginning or the end, depending on how you take the loop. Either way, the rest of the trail does not look like that - don’t knock a trail if you haven’t completed it! :) I found this place to be nice and peaceful. My dog loved it. There are a couple different ways to loop around, and the signs made this easy to do.

From the parking lot this looked like it would be a pretty trail....walked for about 3 minutes and we were overcome with mosquitos and trail did not look as if it has been walked on or had any maintenance (grass in the path was long and not matted at all from being walked on). We left and went to Inglenook.

The trail itself is really nice and gives path options. However, the amount of bugs was CRAZY! We had to walk through swarms of mosquitos. Beware!

I really liked this trail. It is very well marked with a few trail options. The only issue is that there were a few sections that were almost completely flooded. Overall great trail and park, but very muddy.

Cute walk through the woods, the first half of the walk was great but the second half was completely underwater. Wouldn’t recommend on a remotely wet day but we’ll try it again on a definitely dry day and update

Great trails lined by branches. Was pretty disappointed though that a park with play structure so big does not have porterhouses not do the trails.

Hiking

I actually liked this trail as a short, after-work hike. It appears to have some regulars as quite a few tee-pees have been built throughout the trails from the downed trees and limbs. The trail was pretty well maintained with spots of soft dirt like it was freshly set, but could possibly become problematic during some heavy rains. Overall, not bad for the area.

This is a good short trail; however, it could be better if maintained properly.
