Wonderful little river to kayak (or even float) down. I enjoyed the still waters and relaxing atmosphere - but please people, pick up your damn beer cans. The river is not your trash can!

We started at the south bridge and went all the way to Lake Superior. Took us 4 hours. Need to be strong and in fairly good shape. The river itself has very little current. And winds a lot. Places to stop along the way for a quick snack and break. Going all the way to Lake Superior was part of our adventure, to say we did it. I recommend Northwoods Kayak and canoe rental. I also recommend the south bridge to the north bridge. About 2.5 to 3 hours. Skip the trip from the north bridge to superior.

There were some tight spots, but a fun trip.
