My dog and I loved hiking here! So many great trails in the Gilbert Forest that interlap with each other. Watch out on this trail though as many areas weren't just muddy they were absolutely flooded and impassable unless you cut through thick forest growth like I did. It was a totally worthwhile way to spend a couple hours. Will be back for sure!

Good outing today. Wolf Meadow a little soggy, as were the lower west side trails.

Great trails, definitely plenty of area to explore. Not easy to navigate, I few they need more signs. We did 5.4 miles, just because we got a little lost.

It was such a nice walk with my 2yr old dog. Tired him out well, good views, quiet, and relatively easy walk. It is easy to get lost, just FYI

Good workout hike. Not the most scenic hike in the work, but it's easy to follow and gets the job done. I'd return!

Great trail to run on. Spring/Fall you can run any time of day. Summer try to run in the morning, the trail can get covered with gnats. Some wet spots so bring boots or trail running shoes.

Good work out with a foot+of snow.
