There is a bog that is just off the trail that is worth seeing. There's a nice boardwalk that you can walk on, and keep your shoes dry. The part around Nara park is paved, has little shade, and is one-way (I believe they want you to go clockwise). This portion is ideal for people with strollers. Meanwhile the wooded part has lots of roots and small stones. I saw several joggers on this portion also, but the number of rocks makes it seem less than ideal for jogging to me. There was a sign at one point that said "Private Property No Trespassing", but it was very old, and very near to it was the yellow markers for the yellow trail, so I think the sign can be ignored. If you go during a workday (as I did), the parking circle at the trailhead may be full, as there are office buildings nearby that lack sufficient parking. It seems that parking at Nara Park would be a better choice if you are going during a workday.

It’s a gem! Look for the pitcher plants in the bog!
