I don't know who rated this trail as easy, but it most definitely is not. I made the mistake of wearing sandals to hike and bringing my five year old lol. It's a moderate grade if you start going counter clockwise, I couldn't imagine trying to hike up the actual ski trail. Coming down it was difficult enough. Another bad choice was doing this hike on an 85 degree day. Altogether it was decent hike, 75% is shaded by the woods, provides a good workout, and there is a view at the top of Berlin Mountain. Just make sure to wear suitable shoes, try hiking on a not so hot day, and be prepared to take your time down the ski slope (possibly landing on your bottom a couple times .)
