HikingGreat!

Perfect spot to watch the sunrise! Just walk it in the daytime first so you know where the trail is.

HikingBlowdownGreat!

Nice trail, easy to find and good for any level. My 3 year daughter old hiked herself to the top in her crocs. There are small green signs with arrows indicating the direction to go along with mileage. There are apparently three different points of entry: north, middle and south. I took the middle path off the main trail, immediately to the right after the stream. The trail is well maintained and the view at the top is amazing. BE CAREFUL DURING HUNTING SEASON. I saw a tree stand located at the joining of the middle and north entry trails, approximately 100 feet off the trail.

After finding the trailhead tucked off the main trail (there's a small sign on a tree), fairly easy hike despite being steep.

A bit sketchy finding trailhead. No marker. Was told it was the second path on the right marked by pink tell tails. This turned out to be correct. Well maintained trail to top marked with pink the whole way......even had steps and bridges. Steep but easy. Fantastic view at top. Trail goes on from there. Nice and level through pretty woods. These trails have signage and it’s possible to do a nice loop for an additional mile before heading back down.

Nice trail though trail head was hard to find. I actually went up on a trail with pink flagging that All Trails shows on map but came down another trail with white blazes and pink flagging which is probably the correct route off of Rocks Rd from the reservoir.

First to Review

This trail recording shows that the person who originally did this went off-trail at a certain point and did their own thing. I kept following the trail for a bit, but had to turn back due to time. A DPW truck came through as I was driving away with my dog, and he didn’t seem weirded out by us being there. Very cool spot all together on a beautiful sunny day. Some foot bridges and streams... a nice forested layout.
