Easy trails. Lots of options. Not always well marked but it’s contained.

Great trail. Good hills but not scrambling up boulder faces. Could keep steady run pace.

Very nice bike/hike! I don’t think Directions/signs are accurate, maybe it’s due to the many many different trails, but still amazing time. I’ll do it again!

Mostly on the bike path, gravely road for more intensity but watch those ankles.

Nice easy walk on a hot day. Super easy to get lost because the trail system is not very easy to follow and has multiple options, but as long as you have a map or GPS you'll be fine. Be warned you can hear the highway for a good chunk of it and there aren't really any views besides the lovely pond. For a reprieve from the city and so close by at that, however, it's awesome to have.

Kids took their mountain bikes, we took the dog. Most people ignore the leashed dog requirement which was frustrating but a lovely walk

Great place to go off the beaten path, if you don’t Ming getting a little wet ( just shoes get wet nothing else. My niece and I have been using this app and so far we have done three and it’s a shock that their right in our back yard. We are determined to do all by the end of the summer. Wish us luck. We made it right alone the highway, that’s were you get a little wet, we love going off the beaten path, it all about having fun and gives us a chance to Reminisce about old times, would have picked a better person to come with me. Enjoy everyone that goes by the highway, I’m 54 and I made it.

This place could very easily be a gem right outside of Boston but it’s much closer to a complete dud. There’s bright “No trespassing” signs by the water legitimately every 25 feet - it looks more like a Boston sidewalk than a wooded trail on a reservation. The days I’ve gone there’s been anywhere from 10-30 dogs on the trails (which is fine, I love a good doggo) but I would say 90% are unleashed. Most are fine, but super annoying to have to interact/deal with the poorly behaved ones. Go to blue hill or breakheart over anything in middlesex fells.

I have been hiking the fella since I was super young - started doing this hike with my dad on Saturday mornings in the summer. Nothing to strenuous but definitely lots of beautiful forest to see!

Nice hike in the city. Very dog friendly although did see a few snakes. Parts near the highway quite loud. Few spots the Alltrails map seems to be off but easy enough to figure out where to go. Lots of intersecting paths so if you're intent on following the loop I'd have a map open most of the way. Easy, definitely low end of moderate. Saw a couple bikers and a few other hikers but otherwise had it to ourselves late morning/early Sunday afternoon. Few bugs but not a problem. 6/9/19

Great trail that can be modified many times over with all the different trails. The markings could get confusing so definitely check in with AllTrails to ensure you’re on the path you want. I did not bike but did see the conditions were a bit muddy for the bike path.

Went here with a 9 and 3 year old hoping for an easy path- there were too many places that the 3 year could not handle. Great trail, had to stop 1/4 of the way and turn back bc kids got tired. Will definitely come back, sans kids. Very easy trail if you hike like we do. Many of the paths are overgrown with thorns!! Many of the paths are poorly marked and could be quite confusing if you don’t pay attention. Gorgeous! Highly recommend.

Would have probably been more fun going clockwise, but great trails. Easy to feel lost in nature right outside a city.

Well marked trails. Not really hiking yet not really a simple flat walk. I would say it’s on the high end of easy to the very low end of moderate. It was very nice but I have similar walks closer to my home so I personally wouldn’t go out of my way to go again.
