The trail was nice and wide, no difficult terrain outside of what you would expect from an unpaved trail. I felt it was adequately marked. Definitely heavily trafficked and lots of dogs. The downside was most of the dogs were off leash. Great views.

Great trail to hike with your dogs. Some parts were a little muddy but overall it was a great experience

Amazing trail! Very muddy at some parts, but tons of fun! The view of the lake is amazing and the view from the top of the hill is spectacular! I go there all the time and I am never disappointed.

Pretty trail. Careful of ticks! Had one on me that got under clothes.

Quick little trail. Good mix of shade and sun. Trails are clearly marked for the most part. Posted signs clearly state dogs are allowed off leash if within eyesight—if you’re looking to avoid dogs, just go somewhere else.

Good for trail running and dog walk, but there are too many dogs are off leash.

Did a trail run. Lots of roots and rocks. It’s good for a slow run with challenging up hills. Nice view at the top of Weir Hill. I will definitely bring the family and dogs back for a hike. These trails are better for hiking. By the way LOTS of dogs OFF leash.

Very nice but to many dogs off leash and not under control of owners

Trails are well marked and there’s signage at most of the trail intersections. There are a fair amount of people hiking through the day, but it’s not too busy. Signs say to leash the dogs, but there were a handful of owners that did t have their dogs leashed. However, all of the dogs we came across were very well behaved.

This is a great trail but I would call it moderate. There is a steep hill right at the beginning (or the end, depending on where you start)that would be difficult for unseasoned walkers. There a helpful treads along the way but it still leaves many people breathless. It's a fantastic view at the top and well worth the effort.

hiking is good, trails clearly marked, impossible to get lost. one problem I have people with dogs 9 out of 10 dogs are Unleashed 9 out of 10 dogs go in the water which is our drinking water here in North Andover. needs to be more strictly enforced.
