Nice easy hike with 360 degree views at the top of Wachusett. Well marked trail. Great for all skill levels. Your dog will love this trail. Top can definitely get crowded in the summer. Easily one of the best hikes in central mass.

Definitely wear shoes with good traction, especially if it rained recently. There are several steep rocky parts but they‘re manageable. The trail offers lots of shade although there are some clearings along the way. Beautiful scenery throughout!

Great trail! Very well marked. Some areas very rocky. A good mix. Conditions today were very muddy and wet. Spectacular views. Be sure to get a photo on the ski lift!

Awesome hike! Moderately difficult with a bit of climbing on the way up, especially the first half of the West Side Trail. We went the day after a rainstorm, and things were pretty muddy, so we took the North Road back down for a safer descent with the children.

Well marked trail with a few spots to stop and relax w/picnic tables. Parking is easy to find and the trail starts right across the street. I will be going back when I have more time to explore.

Great hike for a beginner with a little taste for adventure. Lots of rocky passes and interesting cut throughs. We took old Indian trail to the summit and then Harrington back down which was rocky and a bit slick in the rain we encountered. Very well maintained and only ran into ten to fifteen fellow hikers.

this trail would get a solid 5 stars if I didn't have to cross a crosswalk in the middle of my hike!! still, it was a great hike with a moderately tough, rocky terrain, and beautiful views.

Went on a snowy day in January and the hike was outstanding! Trail is well marked and can be very icy! Great trail for all levels.

Fun trail with some rocky inclines at the start. Intersects with Old Indian Trail to lead to the summit. We took a bunch of different trails zigzagging up and down the Mt as an alternative way back to West Side Trail.

Engaging rocky accent with plenty of breaks on West Side trail. We took Harrington back down to West Side road which was the perfect cool down.

This is one of my favorite routes up Wachusett, going further down on Westminster Road, past Echo Lake Trail you will find a great trail head with a decent parking lot across the way. Light foot traffic until you reach Old Indian Trail which intersects about 3/4 of the way up.
