Well marked trail with a few spots to stop and relax w/picnic tables. Parking is easy to find and the trail starts right across the street. I will be going back when I have more time to explore.
Challenging at least for me but in a good way nice work out good scenery
Great hike for a beginner with a little taste for adventure. Lots of rocky passes and interesting cut throughs. We took old Indian trail to the summit and then Harrington back down which was rocky and a bit slick in the rain we encountered. Very well maintained and only ran into ten to fifteen fellow hikers.
this trail would get a solid 5 stars if I didn't have to cross a crosswalk in the middle of my hike!! still, it was a great hike with a moderately tough, rocky terrain, and beautiful views.
Went on a snowy day in January and the hike was outstanding! Trail is well marked and can be very icy! Great trail for all levels.
Fun trail with some rocky inclines at the start. Intersects with Old Indian Trail to lead to the summit. We took a bunch of different trails zigzagging up and down the Mt as an alternative way back to West Side Trail.
Engaging rocky accent with plenty of breaks on West Side trail. We took Harrington back down to West Side road which was the perfect cool down.
great short moderate trail. Some rocky areas, but not difficult.
This is one of my favorite routes up Wachusett, going further down on Westminster Road, past Echo Lake Trail you will find a great trail head with a decent parking lot across the way. Light foot traffic until you reach Old Indian Trail which intersects about 3/4 of the way up.
