Great short hike. Strenuous part of hike starts pretty early until you reach summit area. Great views to the East and of Tully pond. Return trail has nice easy descent through a hemlock forest. Well worth effort.

The bugs are awful when you get up there, but other than that it was a great hike and a beautiful view!

Excellent view for effort ratio. Lots of turkey vultures gliding on the thermals today.

Great view for a pleasant hike. Short and sweet. The second half of the loop down isn’t as pleasant as the way up. Consider doubling back.

Good, easy hike. My almost-four-year-old said he was tired on the way up, but go up the steep way and the way up is pretty short. He ran pretty much all the way down. The other two boys, 11 and 14, had no problem and didn’t complain at all. Nice views at the top. I imagine this is a good hike all year, though we went in November. Hiking boots or shoes would be a good idea. The trail and rocks can be slippery, and the grip from proper boots helps.

Great local hike. if you only got an hour or so to hike a mountain this is the spot. Beautiful view at the summit. on a clear day you can see Monadonock pretty closely in all its glory. As well as wachusette and watatic. The best part of the hike is the big field at the bottom of the mountain. From early spring to late summer it's always covered in wild flowers of all sorts. Including lilacs and such. stunning. Easy hike. a bit steep for 10 mins going up and then again back down. Great little loop trail.

Did this with my family the day after rain which left a lot of the trail muddy. Beautiful views at the top. Would definitely recommend

Did the steep slope for incline (.5 miles). Did the gradual coming down (1.25 miles). Steep incline wasn't crazy, but was a nice quick work out. View from the top was amazing and worth the hike. Coming back down the longer route we found the horse flies to be horrible. Ended up running the whole way back to the car. Took 22 minutes up and 9 minutes coming down (we were running down though).
