Walking

There are many more trails than what shows on the map. We turned earlier than we planned to and ended up at the top of the hill but at a dead end. Bushwacked over to the trail we originally wanted, thankful for AllTrails to guide us. Nice walk with just a little snow coating the ground.

At some point the trail is so overgrown the grass comes to your knee. Also a tree down across the trail. decided to turn around before it was tick city.

Perhaps this will be good for snowshoeing. Very rocky and much broken glass. No real scenery except for some interesting rock piles.. Do not recommend.

A rocky path with May flies out, 4-wheeler ruts and puddles about. Broken sun through the naked pines, a gentle breeze made walk just fine.

this trail is wide and good for a quiet walk away from the road. would not recommend going further than the quarry. decent lookout hill. only 3 stars because I probably wouldn't come here again.

Mostly rocky road but less tick worries. The quarry is interesting to see and there's a nice Vista on the way out.

I will have to go back and try this again. Trails are not marked very well. We still had a blast.

Very easy old lumber and quarry trails. I'm a fan of finding old quarries and this one had some neat features towards the peak. You can still see the old plug and feather marks on many pieces of stone. Along with the old railway that probably was used to move the granite. Overall it would be an easy family hike, even for younger kids. Decent views at top, good spot for picnic hike

Trail not marked. Difficult terrain. Industrial trash in areas. Other way better trails around.
