This was an amazing trail! Was not expecting the beautiful scenery once we got to the fields at top. Great place to pack backpack and have lunch in the fields. The trail offered a great workout as well, we went off te main trail and followed another small one that had great hills. The paths were nicely marked as well... will definitely make another trip here soon!

All in all a good little hike. On the easier side of Moderate. The Highmoor section was the most "difficult" in terms of roots and rocks. It was pretty slippery with a few ankle deep spots of mud. The Sunrise section could be a little better marked. I'd suggest going up the Tom Leary to Sunrise and down the Rachel Phelps. Best way to maximize the great view.

Nice hike up through mixed and successional forest to old orchard meadow with outstanding view of the Pioneer valley.
