The Knob at Quissett Harbor Trail is a 0.9 mile moderately trafficked loop trail located near Falmouth, Massachusetts that features beautiful wild flowers and is good for all skill levels. The trail offers a number of activity options and is best used from March until November. Dogs are also able to use this trail.
Such a variety of natural beauty short but not boring and one of my absolute fav trails now!
Tight roads leading up to the trail, a good amount of parking and also a place to turb around at the end (a word of caution for bigger vehicles: very tight). But so worth it and absolutely gorgeous! A short, easily walkable trail! Did it right before sunset and the bugs were not bad at all. Two ways to enter, I suggest going left first so you can walk through the forest before you see the beautiful water and the Knob itself.
Small, some o the trails are narrow. All akes you on a path through rocks.
Just beautiful. You will see cool mansions and some VERY privileged beautiful people...lol. But once you’re past feeling poor and unaccomplished, enjoy the lovely views and dip your feet in the Atlantic. Good picture opportunities at sunset at the high point at the end.
This was a fun hike with my young children, the views were amazing! The beaches were so gorgeous! We found lots of shells, crabs etc Unfortunately the trail was over grown and not marked well...we were worried about getting lost, we didn’t make the whole loop just had to turn back after veering off to the beach trail.
Absolutely breathtaking views from start to finish! Sandy, well-maintained and shady at most parts. Trail offers hidden, secluded beaches that are dog-friendly and open to the public. Only complaint is public parking is a bit scarce, but so worth it if you can find a spot.
Started around 11:00. It was a little foggy which made it look kind of neat. Ran into other hikers along the trail that were out enjoying the day also. Round trip should take about 20 minutes. I choose to do little side trips to take photos. So it took me twice as, but it was worth the extra time.
Took a walk out while on vacation. Nice little stroll with plenty of spots to stop for a dip on a hot day. The trail is easy enough to do in your beach footwear. the views are great and include ocean birds and sail boats. There are several smaller paths you can take that connect the loops 2 sides but no signage. Being a small peninsula you can't really get lost so if you want you can make the walk longer byzig zagging your way out.
