Stow Town Forest Blue, Red and AT&T Loop is a 3 mile lightly trafficked loop trail located near Stow, Massachusetts that features a lake and is good for all skill levels. The trail offers a number of activity options. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.
Wide and clear, relatively flat and scenic. Lots of people & dogs.
Nice day for a walk with the family on this great trail. Saw a huge swan on the river.
Great wide trail with nice views of Assabet River. Had some good side trails too.
Awesome hike to do with dogs. Not hard at all but there is some elevation. Beautiful fall foliage as well.
Well kept trails that are fairly well marked. There is water access at some parts. Dogs are to be kept on leash due to a temporary order though.
This was a lovely loop with little elevation gain or drop along a pond with swans on it. We only saw a couple of people on our walk. We definitely do another hike in this forest again.
Solid trail. Mostly flat, not challenging at all. This shouldn't be rated moderate by any means. Still, nicely maintained trail with decent scenery. Some streams and views along the Assabet. It's pretty well marked for the most part, but we definitely made use of the All Trails map a few times to find the right way to go. nice little workout!
Went there yesterday and had a great, bug free, hike. Beautiful views over the Assabet. There is an ultralight airfield across the Assabet, which often has people flying in/out, particularly in calm weather and early in the morning and later in the day (I used to ride past it from the other side on a regular basis), but no one was flying mid-afternoon. All in all a wonderful trail.
Beautiful, mostly flat wooded trail. Great beginner trail for mountain biking, but recommend staying on the blue marked trail if you’re not comfortable with the more narrow, steeper trails over roots and rocks. Quiet, very few hikers out on Memorial Day.
Great - I’m new to mountain biking and I have been trying to find the perfect beginner trail where I can build strength, endurance and confidence. I tried Callahan State Park which was very nice, large but a little more advanced for my level of beginner. Plus you can get lost easy there. Over here at Garden Hill Conservation Area it’s a lot harder to get lost and they have a much better trail course for beginners. They also have plenty of single trails that are good for when you get better. Today was my first time going there and I plan on going there a lot more often to build myself up. Highly recommend for any beginner mountain bike rider.
Great trail, I run this loop (and variations of it) often. Note the hill in the middle (which this loop misses) - you can easily add some elevation gain by doing the hill, and since there are 4 trails to the top you have lots of choices, do any 1 or do all 4 for a workout!
