From 495: Take exit 27 and go East on 117 towards Stow and Maynard. Go 5.6 miles and take a right onto Bradley Ln (directly across from Deerfield Ln that is on your left). If you have reached a shopping plaza with a Shaws in it, you have gone too far. Take Bradley Ln until it ends in a parking area.
I love this trail, it's a great walk and you can go off on side trails to get closer to the water. My pup loved it too. I did not encounter any off leash dogs as mentioned in other reviews, I did encounter a runner who thanked me for picking up after my dog, I guess not always the case here but I didn't see any evidence of that today.
Lots of additional trail options. Great place for an easy Hike. Main trails are wide and clear.
Such a beautiful trail!! No bugs and wide trails. Plenty of off leash dogs
The trails are wide, pine needle-cushioned and well maintained. Few rocks and tree roots on these trails. Signage? I’ve never seen better. It might be an area where everyone walks their dogs as every person I encountered had a dog. Since it’s the day before the 4th I’m thinking that might have something to do with it too. Limited views of the Assebet River are nice but you have to take a few excursions off-route if you want to get closer to the water.
Plus river crest extension and slight easterly detour I love this trail
I biked the blue loop with my 3 daughters (7, 9, 10). Good intro bike trails.
Seeing more and more poop bags (filled) and trash left from patrons :(
This was a very relaxing and nice hike. Its easy so is really good for all skill levels. There are other trails that come off some of the main trails that looked like fun to explore. There is a picknic area off the blue trail near the lake that had a beautiful view of the pond. There were even some swans in there today. I found the trails easy to follow and were marked well (look for the colored markers on the trees). Beautiful trail and well kept!!!
I went with my 5 & 7 year old and while it was the perfect terrain and distance for a family walk, the bugs were out of control! We immediately regretted not wearing bug spray!
