HikingGreat!

What Patrick said below- don’t follow google maps. It’s a driveway, right when you take a left onto Pope, you’ll see the Acton Conservation sign.

Great trail! It was heavily wooded so I highly suggest bringing bug spray, the mosquitos are definitely out there

Don’t follow Google maps to trail. There is an entrance off of Pope signed as Camp Acton conservation area. Overall a Nice scenic walk.

Perfect. Peaceful. So many tiny, incredibly beautiful spring-in-bloom microcosms. (And only 2 other humans) Marshy in spots.

Great place to park is at the entrance to Camp Acton off of Pope road. This links up with the Spring Hill loop. Here is a URL with a map of Acton trails: https://trails.actonma.gov/map/?zoom=14.20&lng=-71.384358&lat=42.505059&m=[] This is a great trail for the dog. Nothing much to see, but a great local trail to let the dog loose and enjoy the woods. If you start on right hand side of the loop at the entrance at Camp Acton, there's a great rock to take a picture of the kids across the brook. Maybe 400 yards in.

Very pretty! Parking lot was not plowed at all so had to hike in. Trails were very snowy but doable without spikes.

The app won’t take you there now, but it did before. Go to the end of Spring Hill Rd. and there is a little rotary with a dirt trail and a sign. Very enjoyable! But there seems to be a bridge that is deteriorating.

Tried this trail today on horseback and didn’t get far. Would not recommend it for this particular activity!

Pretty boring and very buggy. Bur if you still wanna do it the trailhead is down the dirt road off of Pope Rd, marked with a Camp Acton sign (app directions doesn't take you here in Google maps)

Not a very scenic trail and somewhat over grown in areas. It was very well marked though.

Walking

Today was a beautiful day here. But the trail was very wet in parts, requiring lots of careful stepping on rocks and logs to avoid wet feet. Muddy doggy paws and the bath afterwards were alas, unavoidable. Lovely trail though. Agree with the advice to take a trail map and watch where you park. I was using this app and it contributed to getting me turned around, because the trailhead on the map in the app wasn’t where I parked (but I didn’t realize that at the time...) easy to get disoriented.
