Make sure that you are in a legal parking spot because there is a police car circling around to ticket those who are not parked in a legal spot.

Great time at the dog park and socializing for the pup

Great trail for an afternoon walk. More on the easy side.

Lovely hike. Trails are not well marked but found it easy to stay on target with the app. The water is beautiful. Went on Monday in the morning and wasn’t crowded but parking wasn’t available by 1130 am. Took it very slow with my dog and completed in less than 2 hours.

Good dog-friendly trail, more of a walk through the woods than a hike, a lot of open trail, some through woods. Some small white bugs, but not too bad, not many mosquitos either, (end of August 75 degrees today.) Great for a little over an hour (1.5 with several stops for pictures and went off trail a few times.) Would go again!

this is a really nice trail but be sure to stay on the orange path, which is very clearly marked. the path that is put on this app is actually the private path (purple on the map) since the water is used as a water supply you are not supposed to be on it. there are some no trespassing signs but it is pretty unclear where they define the start if the no trespassing. just make sure to stay off of the trail that looks flat and smooth since you will be ticketed for like $50 dollars if you are caught.

Easy and quick trail around south reservoir. Fairly straightforward to navigate. Lightly trafficked with scenic views. We saw a snake along the path.

This is one of the most scenic trail in the Middlesex Fells Reservation especially on the eastern side of the loop. The sunset from here is pretty spectacular as I've had a chance to catch a few. It is worth it to do the loop at the bulge at the top of the trail and extend the loop to over 3 miles. The tip of the bulge is quick scenic looking southward over South Reservoir.
