Sawink Farm Reservation is a 1 mile lightly trafficked loop trail located near Westborough, Massachusetts that features a great forest setting and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for hiking and nature trips.
Adding 2.5 miles to the route by hiking the Sawink Farm Reservation loop via the Connector Trail didn’t add much value to the Cedar Hill experience with its stunning views and late fall colors. Cedar Hill with its sweeping almost treeless meadow at the top gave reason to take picture after picture. I highly recommend walking the loop counter-clockwise as the rocky and root laden climb makes the sights you’re greeted with at the top and on the way down worth it. Parking is tricky but there’s plenty of space. You actually park in the Cedar Hill Industrial Center off Cedar Hill Road and walk through the parking lot to get to the trail head on your left.
A great hike. Buggy but pretty flat with lots on interesting sights to see. We extended the original hike to include the Sawink Farm Reservation to make it 5 miles long.
