This is a really fun Trail that offers a mix of rocks, packed trail, and bridges. I would caution that there are some steepish rocks to climb, so have good shoes. I took my puppy and she did great.

It was really nice gettin to the top of the rock and seeing all the trees. Really muddy so if you’re trying to run you can only do it for half the trail. Once you I get to the tail end to it you can easily go the wrong way so be careful.

Fun area to hike with well-marked paths. Trails are narrow and muddy at times with some hills as well. Parking is available at Olde Salem Greens in the back of the lot.

Went in to collect some of the blown down wood from storms this past fall. Always a lovely spot. NB that in the winter time the regular parking lot closes at 2pm

Nice local hike. A bit overgrown in places and can get muddy. There are shacks constructed in a few places in the park that appear to be lived in occasionally, they have pots and pans, some clothing and alcohol bottles maybe a homeless person. It's too bad because I live nearby and it's convenient to walk the dog there.

Considering it’s location between the two old cities of Salem and Lynn, it is glorious that with barely a half hours walk you can see something as glorious and wild looking as the view over Thomson’s Meadow. A blessing to us residents.

TrAil was ok for first 1/4 mile then it was terrible. Overgrown brush, not maintained at all. Terrible. Many bugs.

Best hike in Salem, hands down. The view overlooking Thomson's Marsh is my favorite spot in Salem.
