Great hike. Trail is well marked and not too steep. When you enter the trailhead, take a left at the gate and that’s where this trail begins. Very easy to follow and gets extremely narrow at the viewpoint about 3/4 of the way up. Recommend for everyone

Steady climb no steep sections. Couple of nice vistas and you go by a plaque explaining how they measure wind speed on Taconic Crest

So great to do this hike again in the spring. Beautiful view walking the ridge and a fairly easy going trail. No streams on this path.

This was a very confusing site. I came to the gps mapped trail head and at the beginning was signs for the Sara Tenney trail and the RRR trail, the further you went along the more deviations and trail options there were. As a solo hiker it was confusing and intimidating just the mere maze of trails you could veer off on. There were also no maps at the beginning to help this issue. It was pretty, and I followed the Sara Tenney trail because it seemed more heavily trafficked and harder to lose my way which from this gps trailhead was downhill out and uphill back.

Amazing hike. In the middle of the trail you have to look carefully for blue blazes. Otherwise perfect!

Perfect hike for today! Exactly what I was looking for. A bit of snow and ice, but I didn’t need or have to use spikes. Steady incline and a great view! Gorgeous after some winter weather.

Some stunning views and great exercise! There's a couple short stretches that are overgrown, so I'd recommend pants over shorts.

very nice trail for both casual and serious hikers. Theres a good balance of flat ground and inclines. a couple point in the trail had over grown slightly but still possible. two good views one halfway through an another at the end. would recommend.

The bugs are already out! Other than that and a foggy view from the top, the hike was fun. Could have been so much better if the fog wasn’t there.

Crazy brutal in knee high snow the entire way. I was in microspikes and it was extremely difficult. However, that view up top is insane. Worth every second
