Lush and varied foliage and frequent wild animal sightings: beaver, muskrat, turtles, frogs, deer, ducks, geese, songbirds, etc.

One of my favorite places. the trails on this section can flood and be narrow but nothing too difficult. If you want nature, it's here.

this trail is advertised as moderate... its relatively easy.. there are few points where u are hiking an incline trail of rocks which is easily managed... i enjoyd the trail for its boardwalks over marsh and pond areas, many places to sit and rest or just be with nature if ur alone as i was..... i did see the chickadees, little reddish squirrels, as i read about in another review, and a black water snake as i was walkn inches above the pond on the boardwalk... i was told there are 12 miles of trails in this sanctuary... i did see a few other hikers on the trail but it was relatively quiet and beautiful....
