A jeep road, steep at times, that provides fast access to the Pocumtuck Overlook. Many trails branch off of this road.

We walked up the Jeep Trail to the lookout, and then took a loop down to go along the Vernal pool Trail. A total of 3 miles. lLots of black flies swarmed us. The trails were well-maintained.

great trail if you can find it I suggest getting directions to Eagle Brook school and then getting onto pine nook road which leads to old pine nook. the trail itself is a nice steep uphill (I assume it would be a nice walk) but I drove up. the road is abandoned so don't expect an easy drive but if you want to go on a nice easy off road drive this is a great place to do it.
