Trail is pretty easy to follow, I would recommend hiking shoes as there are roots and rocks from the trail. Some bug spray would be good.Great views with very low traffic.

Decent trail. From lower parking area, it’s a combination of ATV trail and narrow paths through ferns and trees. Good view from Quabbin Tower and Echo Look Out but not anything overly challenging. Take the opportunity to go down to waterfront on lower trail. Good view across reservoir.

Trail was mostly grassy roads with lots of ticks. Not too crowded tough.

Disappointing. first part of walk was nice gradual uphill thru woods. We were looking forward to tower. Had no idea there was a paved road with parking lot at the tower. So lots of people taking in the view, even tossing a football. That crowd was not at all what we expected.

Great roads for biking and great trails for hiking. The dikes are awesome and the history of the construction of the reservoir and the displacement of the 4 colonial era towns is good stuff. Check out the Visitor Center.

The views are beautiful. Loaded with ticks though and overgrown in many areas, so unavoidable. My daughter and I picked off about 50 deer ticks between the both of us by the time we were done. The 6.1 mile trail is actually 7.1 miles, unless we messed up somehow. And the trail opens up about a quarter of the way through to a parking lot at the tower(which we climbed, so that's where that extra distance came in

Gorgeous views, and generally clear but some blowdown in the beginning parts of the trail. A great way to spend the day!

Nice shade along the way so made for a good run. The trail was a bit overgrown in spots but nothing that bad. I went during the week so no traffic on the trail. I enjoyed the views at the observation tower as well.

This trail by far is the best hiking trail in the Quabbin. The best part of the trail is the observation tower on Quabbin Hill. I like to bring food to picnic on that hill and to rest and really soak in the experience from there. It's a great way to spend a day in the Quabbin.

Not a trail, it's basically a path that you walk on

absolutely beautiful location. I didn't even know this trail was here because you have to go through a gate on the right. somewhat difficult. I was out of breath on the way back up the mountain for sure. but great workout. awesome views of wildlife and stream. we go every year
