Breakheart Reservation features a series of intricate, interconnecting trails. This trail Loops around two of the ponds in the park including the largest, Pearce Lake. If you get off track, there are plenty of signs posted and park rangers to help you navigate. Fishing is available on the lake, and there is a beach to relax at. At the top fo the climb, there are great views over the lakes and to the skyscrapers of Boston in the distance.

Beautiful trails around two lakes. A wonderful place to see fall colors for people of all experience levels. Just wear plenty of bug spray!

Smaller park that seems to get overlooked because of the larger surrounding parks (Lynn Woods, HP ect.) but the trails are extremely well maintained by a small group and the riding is very technical. There are are some great marked trails (on map) but it's the unmarked side trails that really make this place something different. It's not exactly a place for beginners or people who dislike climbing or technical trails but if you enjoy beating yourself and your bike up to reap some fun rewards I suggest you check it out.

We spent a good afternoon here, hiking around both the lakes and even went up the crest to view the Boston skyline. Trails are fairly well marked but there are a lot of interweaving trails so we ended up customizing our own. Beach at lower lake would be perfect for young ones. Upper lake is more secluded.

This is a good easy going trail in the area. Pearce Lake in particular is very scenic especially for sunset in the evening. The upper pond is good for swimming. The whole loop will give you a solid workout and the paved road is a nice touch making it good for family with strollers as well.

Flat trail, nothing special. Wouldn’t go here unless you live really close to it. There are better trails around.

Nice, well marked trail with nice lake views along the Ridgeline Trail. Good rock bounding moments too.

Beautiful hike and lake that you can swim in it during summer.

The swamp at 0.9 mi on this trail was probably an outdated section. They changed the trail, so follow the marking on trees instead of the trail on this map, otherwise you might end up crossing the swamp and get all wet, just like me! (Or maybe it was because it was raining heavily…)

Ridge trail is a great hike. A lot of uphill climbing and full of challenges.

I hiked the Fox Run Trail and Breakhill Trail. There are many different trails. I suggest getting a map in the visitor's center first; it really gives a great overview of the park. Make sure your legs are ready to climb!
