New Bedford Harborwalk is a 2.6 mile lightly trafficked out and back trail located near New Bedford, Massachusetts that offers scenic views and is good for all skill levels. The trail offers a number of activity options and is best used from April until October. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.

I usually walk down near the end of the hurricane barrier and if it's low tide I'll cross over to Palmers island and loop it, cool lighthouse.

Fabulous views across the harbor to Sconticut Neck. Ferries, fishing and pleasure boats coming and going from harbor. Sea birds of all kinds. Palmer Island accessible at low tide. Butler Flats and Palmer Island lighthouse views
